Digitization in the area of approval is progressing
On the way to becoming the “first digital car dealership in Europe”, the Berlin car dealership group Gerhard König GmbH is strengthening its cooperation with the Leipzig registration service provider Speed GmbH. Speed will digitally map all registration processes for the Stellantis brands of the car dealership group up to the handover of the vehicle to the customer. The technical basis is an IT interface between the König delivery tool CarGo and the registration software premium-zulasser.online from Cologne-based PremiumZulasser eG. Speed is one of the founding members of the cooperative, under whose umbrella more than 50 local and regional registration service providers have joined together to form a nationwide association.
In addition to new vehicle registrations, transfers and deregistrations, Speed will also take care of all correspondence with customers of the Stellantis brands for Autohaus König. The Leipzig-based company will be represented with its own team of five in a wing of the digital car dealership at the Berlin-Adlershof innovation location. The direct proximity of online sales to the disposition is intended to save time and distance in order to be able to serve customers even more efficiently. “We look forward to the task, because König is a successful, broad-based car dealership with an impressive tradition and a bright future. The basis of the current cooperation is the joint experience gained as part of the ‘Lidl Fiat 500’ sales campaign,” says Speed Managing Director Susann Sobieralski.
When transforming his retail group, König is concentrating on digital sales channels, among other things, and is hoping for further growth as a result. Last year, the car dealership group sold around 35,000 new and used cars. In the current year, sales are to be increased to 45,000 vehicles despite the pandemic and semiconductor crisis.
“The digitization of car dealership processes is challenging overall and presents us with additional tasks of our own in setting up the first digital car dealership in Europe. With Speed we have an optimal service provider at our side for this project. Our online teams under Alexander von der Decken can concentrate fully on sales and customer contact and are relieved of all administrative approval issues. The sales speed is fun and drives us further,” says Stefanie Bartoeck, authorized signatory and general sales manager for Stellantis at Autohaus Gotthard König GmbH.
With the approval software premium-zulasser.online, not only can all work steps of an approval be processed fully electronically, but the necessary data for the development of new business activities can also be called up digitally. In addition, the system offers the possibility of networking with the IT tools of trade and approval authorities via appropriate interfaces. “This eliminates the error-prone manual transfer of data from one system to another on the computer. That saves time and money,” says Susann Sobieralski from Speed.
By networking the CarGo delivery tool with premium-zulasser.online, customers of Autohaus König can book the vehicle delivery online with just a few clicks immediately after registration. In addition, the dealership and customers are automatically informed by email about all approval steps. “This is so far unique in Germany,” emphasizes Susann Sobieralski.
In the networking of proven inventory management systems with premium-zulasser.online, the Cologne cooperative sees a central strategic approach for the further digitization of registration processes both in stationary and virtual car dealerships as well as in the vehicle registration offices of municipalities and districts. Englisch startseite “Since there is no one piece of software that can do everything, we achieve integrated solutions that measurably relieve trade and authorities by linking different systems,” says Florian Cichon, CEO of PremiumZulasser.
