Premium regulators continue to expand their market leadership
Cooperation with the Lower Saxony-Bremen Motor Vehicle Association
Cologne/Großburgwedel. After the cooperation with the Association of the North Rhine-Westphalian Motor Vehicle Trade, PremiumZulasser eG (PZeG) will also be a partner of the Lower Saxony-Bremen motor vehicle trade from April. The regional association and the Cologne cooperative announced this today. “Digitalization is progressing rapidly in the approval system. The implementation of i-Kfz Level 4 presents our companies with enormous challenges. “It is extremely helpful to have a recognized approval professional with proven IT expertise at our side,” says association president Karl-Heinz Bley.
The aim of the collaboration is, among other things, to enable the approximately 3,600 master vehicle repair shops that are affiliated with the regional association to have access to the PZeG approval software premium-zulasser.online and to draw attention to other services offered by the cooperative members.
Under the umbrella of PremiumZulasser eG, 60 local and regional licensers have currently joined forces to form a Germany-wide association, whose core business includes services relating to new registrations, transfers of ownership and decommissioning of motor vehicles.
In addition to the member companies, over 5,000 car dealerships nationwide work with the innovative PZeG registration tool, which is networked with the major customer interface of the Federal Motor Transport Authority and thus enables direct access to the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport’s new online registration system i-Kfz. Last year, member companies and their customers processed over 1.6 million new registrations, re-registrations and decommissionings using the PZeG software. That was 17 percent more than in 2022. This meant that the PZeG community was able to further expand its position as the number one approval service provider on the German market.
“We are very pleased about the trust that the Lower Saxony-Bremen Motor Vehicle Industry Association now places in our services,” says Florian Cichon, Chairman of the Board of PremiumZulasser eG. Association President Bley expects the partnership to provide a further boost in the digitalization of work processes, which will lead to noticeable relief in time-consuming and personnel-intensive standard processes in car dealerships.”
